Climate Sense
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Tudor Rose collaborated to issue a publication about climate prediction and information for decision-making.
Climate Sense is a fully illustrated 288-page case-bound book with over 100 authors relating their work in weather, climate and water services at international, regional, national and local levels. Their commentaries draw upon experiences around the world reflecting how people are using climate information to improve their lives. Climate Sense reflects the progress and challenges in these fields, highlighting good practices in a wide variety of societies and disciplines.
Published in August 2009, Climate Sense was launched at World Climate Conference-3 in Geneva on 31 August by Mr Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General, World Meteorological Organization www.wmo.int/wcc3.
Compiled, edited and designed by the Tudor Rose team this book is the twelfth in a series of volumes produced for the United Nations system continuing the collaborative effort to effectively deliver knowledge to decision makers in all socio-economic sectors worldwide.
