Tudor Rose relaunches shipping magazine

Tudor Rose has successfully relaunched the passenger shipping title International Cruise & Ferry Review.

The biannual magazine, which was bought from Euromoney Plc earlier in the year, has been given a completely new art direction, while maintaining the high standards that have meant it has become one of the industry’s most trusted passenger shipping authorities.

“The successful implementation of International Cruise & Ferry Review into the Tudor Rose stable is the crowning glory on a period that has seen us go against the general trend throughout the industry,” said Tudor Rose managing director Jon Ingleton.

“While the title has done brilliantly under the stewardship of Euromoney, we hope that we can take it to the next level and see it really fulfil its potential.”

The first issue saw contributions from some of the sector’s most renowned names, including a keynote with Royal Caribbean Line (RCL) chief Richard Fain and interviews with Carnival’s Gerry Cahill and Hapag-Lloyd boss Sebastian Ahrens.

Other highlights included an in-depth look at the cruise ship order book and a section devoted to the current opportunities and challenges in passenger shipping around the world, including a feature with the Kenyan Port Authority focusing on the detrimental effects piracy has had on the industry.

The magazine’s launch has been bolstered by the creation of a brand new website: www.cruiseandferry.net which gives links to both the iPad and digital editions.
